I returned to the Ashes barns on the edge of the Peak District for David and Hayley's wedding this summer. My first booking since the pandemic lockdowns. it was a busy evening set up in the top bar. I'm always happy to quote for weddings at this ever popular venue.

Live Caricatures, Wolverhampton

I love to draw at Indian weddings, and here are some caricatures from a recent booking at Grand Station in Wolverhampton. It's a beautifully decorated former railway station and the entertainment was set up in the former ticket office. It was a very busy afternoon but a pleasure to be part of such a great day!

Christmas Party Live Caricatures, Daventry

A few drawings from a very busy evening drawing employees at a corporate Christmas party at Staverton Park, Daventry, Northamptonshire. While most of my bookings tend to be for weddings and private parties, I can also be hired as corporate entertainment anywhere within reach of the West Midlands!
I worked relentlessly at this booking and had some great responses to my likenesses. People certainly enjoy watching drawings appear before their eyes.

Live Caricaturist in the Peak District

A few live caricatures from a recent booking that took me to Mayfield Hall just outside Ashbourne. I love a Peak District wedding and the Ashbourne area seems to have some lovely little venues. I spent the evening drawing wedding guests in a giant tipi in the grounds of the hall.

For a long time I've wanted to draw at an Indian wedding, and recently got the chance. Here are some drawings from the evening, at Coombe Abbey near Coventry. There were 450 guests and I had a great time; great people, music, clothes, and fantastic chai tea. I loved it! Live Caricaturist Up North

Although most of the events I draw are in within the West Midlands, I'm occasionally asked further afield. These caricatures were drawn at a private Christmas party up North, above Liverpool.
You might notice the texture of the paper in these photos, and that's a good thing! I work on heavy stock 200gsm cartridge paper, for a quality product.

Caricature your Wedding in Horsley, Surrey

A rather special booking recently took me out of the Midlands, down to Horsley Towers in Surrey. Many of the guests were Asian which was a very appealing challenge. For the guestbook, sitters were asked to photocopy their drawing and add a comment underneath, which worked well. The Bride and Groom now have a truly unique momento of their special day.

Caricature drawings of guests at Randstad recruitment's party at the Hilton Metropole, National Exhibition Centre. Every office in 27 countries had a big party on the same day; several hundred of their UK staff all came to Birmingham. A busy evening for a caricaturist..
